CARAMEL CUSTARD 
2 c. brown sugar
Butter the size of an egg
4 c. milk
2 tsp. cornstarch
2 tsp. flour
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter and sugar in large pot. Add other ingredients and cook until thick. Pour into 2 baked pastry shells. Top with coconut if desired.
