2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/4 lb. butter (1 stick)
4 tbsp. cocoa
2 1/2 c. quick oats
1/4 c. chopped nuts (optional)
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. peanut butter

Mix cocoa and sugar together in saucepan and stir in milk. Add butter. Place on moderate heat and cook together until it reaches a full boil. Start counting and boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in oats, peanut butter, nuts and vanilla. Stir until well blended. Spoon onto wax paper.
