MACARONI ONE DISH MEAL | |
1 lb. ground beef, turkey or chicken 1/2 c. chopped onion 1 c. diced celery 3 1/2 c. tomatoes 2 tbsp. chopped parsley 2 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. ketchup 8 oz. macaroni (1/2 pkg.) Cook meat in non-stick pan until brown. Add rest of ingredients. Cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours. Cook macaroni according to directions on package. Arrange in hot dish with meat sauce. One pound of bacon, diced and fried, may be substituted for beef. Serves 6. |
