1 can Campbell's golden mushroom soup
1/2 c. fine bread crumbs
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 c. chopped onion
Generous dash pepper
1 1/2 lb. ground beef, lean

Mix thoroughly 1/4 cup soup with remaining ingredients. Shape into 6 patties and place in shallow baking dish, 9 x 13 inches. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Spoon off fat. Mix rest of soup with 1/3 cup water. Pour over meat. Bake 10 minutes more. Serves 6.
