PRODUCER'S DAIRY CHOCOLATE CAKE 
2 sq. chocolate
1/2 c. cold coffee
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. shortening
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. coffee

Cook first 2 ingredients together until thick; add 1/2 cup sugar and let cool. Cream shortening, sugar and egg; sift together flour and baking soda. Add coffee alternately with flour mixture to chocolate mixture.

FROSTING:

2 sq. chocolate
1 c. sugar
3 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. boiling water

Cook until thick. Add 1 tablespoon butter and 1 teaspoon vanilla.

If you add sugar and cornstarch to 1/4 cup cold water, it won't lump. then add 3/4 cup boiling water.
