1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 c. water
2 c. cake flour
2 tsp. baking powder
5 egg whites
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. almond extract

Cream butter well, add sugar gradually, sift flour and baking powder, add alternately with water. Flavor and fold in egg whites beaten stiff.
