AUNT GIN'S PEANUT BRITTLE 
3 c. sugar
1 c. salted peanuts
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Melt sugar at 400°F. Stir until melted. Add salted peanuts and baking soda. Mix well. Work fast. Pour onto large buttered baking sheet.

Cast-iron pan is best for making peanut brittle.
