CHOCOLATE CRACKLES 
2 c. brown sugar, packed
2/3 c. oil
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
12 oz. chocolate chips, melted
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Melt chocolate chips. Combine with sugar and oil. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat well. Add vanilla.

Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add to chocolate mixture. Stir in nuts.

Chill dough, at least 2 hours.

Roll dough into balls, roll in powdered sugar. Bake on greased cookie sheets, 350 degrees, 10-12 minutes.
