CHICKEN A LA CRESCENT | |
8 oz. can Pillsbury Quick Crescent Dinner Rolls 1/4 c. butter 1/4 c. flour 1 tsp. instant chicken bouillon 1/4 tsp. pepper Dash thyme leaves 2 c. milk 2 (5 oz.) cans chunk chicken 9 oz. pkg. Green Giant frozen sweet peas, thawed and drained 2 oz. jar sliced pimentos, drained Heat oven to 375 degrees. Prepare crescent rolls as directed on package. In medium saucepan melt butter, stir in flour, bouillon, pepper, thyme. Gradually add milk, stir constantly. Cook on medium heat until thickened and boils. Stir in chicken, peas and pimento, simmer 5 minutes or until thoroughly heated. For each serving spoon about 1 cup chicken mixture over 2 baked crescent rolls. 4 servings. |
