PAKORAS 
1 c. gram flour
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. red chili powder
1/2 tsp. cumin powder
Pinch of baking powder
1/4 tsp. garlic
1 potato, peeled & cut into little pieces
1/2 onion, chopped
1/2 bunch cilantro
1 tomato, cut into little pieces
Water
Oil for deep frying

Place the gram flour and the remaining dry ingredients in a bowl. Add water gradually and mix to a smooth batter. The consistency should be like thick pancake batter. Add onion, tomatoes, cilantro and potatoes. Heat the oil in a Wok. Drop spoonfuls in the oil, one at a time. They will be in the shape of little balls. Fry on medium heat until golden brown.
