FRANK 'N NOODLE CASSEROLE 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. med. noodles
3 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. chopped onion
1/3 c. chopped green pepper
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of celery soup
3/4 c. dairy sour cream
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese
3/4 tsp. leaf oregano
4 or 5 sliced frankfurters, sliced in thin rounds

Cook noodles according to package directions; drain. In a small saucepan saute onion and green pepper in butter. In a large bowl combine soup, sour cream, tomato sauce, 1 cup of the shredded cheese and oregano; add sauteed onions and green pepper and blend thoroughly. Add noodles and franks and turn into a 2-quart casserole.

Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) for 45 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle with remaining cheese and let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
