SWEDISH MEATBALLS 
2 lbs. lean ground beef
1 lb. lean ground pork
2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
1 c. mashed potatoes
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. ginger
6 tbsp. flour
2 c. cream or milk
6 tbsp. butter
2 c. beef bouillon or stock

Mix beef, pork, 1 cup bread crumbs, mashed potatoes, eggs, and seasoning together lightly. Shape into balls; roll in remaining 1 cup bread crumbs.

Brown meatballs in butter in skillet; turn frequently to brown evenly. Remove from skillet; stir flour into fat in skillet. Add bouillon and cream; cook, stirring constantly until thickened. Season to taste. Return meatballs to skillet; cover and simmer about 15 minutes.
