OAT-BRAN CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2-1/2 cups quick-cooking oats
1 package (11-1/2 oz.) milk chocolate chips
2 cups chopped walnuts
1-1/2 cups All-Bran cereal

In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets.

Bake at 350°F for 12-14 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to wire racks to cool.

Yield: 7 dozen.
