EASY BAKED APPLES 
4 lg. apples
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
2 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. water

Microwave: Core apples, slice thin circle of peel in 9 inch pie plate. Combine sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg. Spoon sugar mixture in center of apples. Top each with 1/2 tablespoon butter. Pour water into pie pan. Cover with plastic wrap. Microwave on high for 6 to 8 minutes or until apples are crisp-tender. Giving dish 1/2 turn every 3 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
