TEA BISCUITS 
3 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. butter
3 egg, beaten
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp. milk

In mixing bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Cut in butter until mixture resembles fine crumbs. Add 3 eggs, beat well. (Dough will be stiff, if too dry, add a little milk.) For each cookie, roll about 1 tablespoon of dough on a floured surface to a rope 5 inches long and 3/8 inch thick. Shape rope into a refrigerator, pressing ends together to seal. Place on a greased baking sheet. Repeat with a mixture of remaining egg and milk. Bake in 350 degree oven 15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on wire rack Makes 3 dozen.
