AUNT MARY'S SPAGHETTI SAUCE 
2 lg. cans whole tomatoes
1/2 tsp. sugar
2 med. cans tomato sauce
3 (8 oz.) cans tomato paste
Lg. onion
Sm. amount ground meat (from meatballs)
Meatballs and sausage

SPICES:

2 tsp. garlic salt
2 tbsp. Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp. oregano
2 tbsp. parsley
2 tbsp. Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 tsp. basil and thyme

Mash tomatoes through sieve to remove seeds. Add tomato sauce. Add paste (2 cans of water with each can). Fry chopped onion and add to sauce. Also a small amount of ground meat. Add the spices and sugar.

Let sauce boil slowly with cover off. Cook meatballs and sausage. Add to tomato sauce and continue cooking (for about an hour).
