GOLFER'S PUMPKIN BREAD 
3 c. sugar
1 c. oil
1 tsp. cinnamon
4 tsp. baking soda
1 c. raisins
1 lg. c. pumpkin
5 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
2 c. walnuts

Mix sugar and oil, add pumpkin and mix thoroughly. Sift and measure flour. Sift all remaining ingredients into the flour. Sift the entire dry mixture into the pumpkin mix, mixing well after each cupful is added.

Chop the nuts into smaller pieces and mix into batter along with the raisins.

Pour batter into 3 loaf pans sprayed with Pam. Bake at 350 degrees for 70 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the bread. Turn out to cool on cake rack.

HINT: As flour is added to the pumpkin mixture, it becomes a little difficult to stir. Find a golfer with a strong grip, it will help. Store bread (not the golfer) in refrigerator in Zip-Loc bags.
