Lettuce leaves
4 canned pear halves, chilled
8 raisins
4 cinnamon candies
8 blanched almonds
4 cottage cheese balls (use a tablespoon or an ice cream scoop)

Line a large serving plate with lettuce leaves. Place the pear halves upside down on the plate, with the narrow ends facing the middle. Use the raisins to make eyes (poke them in gently). Place the almonds behind the raisins to make ears. Use the cinnamon candies for noses. As a final touch, place the cottage cheese balls at the round end of the pear to make tails.
