OSLO KRINGLE 
1 c. boiling water
1 cube butter
1 c. sifted flour
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
1 tbsp. butter
1 c. powdered sugar
Milk, as needed

Melt the butter in the boiling water. Add the flour and stir until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, beating after each until smooth. Add 1 teaspoon almond flavoring. Spread in a ring on a cookie sheet. Flatten to about 3 inches wide. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.

When cooled, frost with a mixture of the 1 tablespoon butter, powdered sugar, 1/2 teaspoon almond flavoring, and enough milk to spread.
