2 eggs
1 c. sugar
Vanilla
1 c. butter
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
Pinch of salt

Beat eggs; add sugar gradually, continuing beating. Cut butter into flour sifted with other dry ingredients as for pastry. Add egg mixture. Chill and roll. Bake in 350 degree oven. May be formed into balls and flattened down with glass.
