AGNES'S RELISH 
8 apples
8 ripe tomatoes
6 onions
6 peppers (3 red, 3 green)
3 c. sugar
1/4 c. salt
1 pt. vinegar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves

Grind apples, tomatoes, onions, and peppers. Add sugar, salt, vinegar, cinnamon, and cloves; cook about 20 minutes. Makes 7 pints.
