BUTTERMILK CHESS PIE 
1/2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. flour (rounded)
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
Dash of nutmeg

Cream butter and sugar. Add flour and eggs; beat well. Stir in buttermilk, vanilla, and nutmeg. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes. Place on a wire rack to cool. Cool completely before serving.
