HOT GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
6-8 good size potatoes
3/4 lb. bacon
3 tbsp. bacon grease
1 c. diced onions
4 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. vinegar
1 c. water
3/4 c. sugar (or more, if desired)
3 hard boiled eggs

Cook potatoes (skins on) in salt water. Set aside to cool; then dice. Fry bacon (diced) until crisp and brown. Drain all grease except 3 tablespoons. Add onions to bacon; stir until onions are brown. Sprinkle flour over onions and bacon; stir. Gradually add vinegar and water. Stir until thickened. Add sugar. Pour mixture over potatoes. Add hard boiled eggs. Serve hot.
