2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. butter
salt
1 c. coconut, shredded
3 c. uncooked oats
1 c. milk
1 tbsp. vanilla

Mix sugar, cocoa and milk in a saucepan. Cook over low heat for 1 minute stirring to dissolve the sugar. Add butter continue to heat until it melts. Remove from heat add coconut, vanilla, uncooked oats, salt. Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper. Yields 48 cookies.
