FRUIT COBBLER 
1 c. sugar
1 c. self-rising flour
3/4 c. milk
1 can presweetened fruit
1 stick butter

Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix sugar, flour and milk until smooth. Melt butter in 9 inch square pan and set aside. Pour batter into butter. (DO NOT STIR.) Pour fruit on top of batter. (DO NOT STIR.)

Bake at 350°F for approximately 30 minutes or until golden brown.

(Note: For apple cobblers sprinkle cinnamon on top.)
