SAUSAGE PINWHEELS 
1 pkg. biscuit mix or your home biscuit dough
1 lb. mild sausage (room temperature)

Mix biscuit dough according to package directions or your recipe. Roll out on floured area to approximately 1/4 inch thick. Spread sausage in thin layer on top of dough (pat sausage between hands for easier coverage), starting at one corner of dough roll up in a jelly roll. Refrigerate for several hours or overnight. Slice in thin slices and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until nicely browned and done. Also freezes well.
