SAUSAGE PINWHEELS 
Unroll 1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent rolls into 4 rectangles. Do not cut into individual rolls.

Spread each pieces of dough with 1/4 of a 2/3 pound fresh pork or Italian sausage. From the short side, roll up jelly roll fashion; pat in the sides of make it even. Then roll slightly to make 4 1/2 inches long. Pinwheels can now be cut and baked or wrapped well and frozen.

When ready to bake, place in a preheated 375 degree oven on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10-15 minutes or until nicely browned. Serve hot. Makes 40.
