SWEET 'N SOUR RED CABBAGE 
1 head red cabbage sliced thin (about 1 lb.)
1 onion, sliced thin
1 apple, diced
1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. cider vinegar
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper

Assemble in saucepan; cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cook 15 minutes. Leaves cabbage crisp. Cook longer for a tender texture.
