WHEAT GERM BREAD 
4 1/2 c. warm water
3/4 c. honey
2 tbsp. molasses
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. wheat germ
3 c. whole wheat flour
2 tbsp. salt
2 cakes yeast
White flour

Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water and 1 teaspoon sugar. Add to batter after honey, molasses, shortening, wheat germ, wheat flour and salt has been mixed with water. Stir in white flour until firm enough to knead. Knead well and let rise until doubled, mix down and let rise until doubled, mix down and let rise again. From into 6 loaves, let rise. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
