2 eggs
2/3 c. vegetable shortening
1 (18.25 oz.) pkg. strawberry cake mix (any brand)
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. chopped coconut

Combine eggs and shortening. Add half the dry cake mix. Beat well. Add remaining dry mix, nuts and coconut. Mix thoroughly. Drop by teaspoons onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Makes 3 dozen cookies.
