CHICKEN PAPRIKAS 
3 med. onions, diced
2 to 2 1/2 lbs. chicken cutlets or 1 chicken, cut up
2 1/2 tbsp. bacon fat
2 tbsp. genuine Hungarian paprika
1 1/2 c. water
1/2 c. sour cream
1/2 tsp. hot pepper flakes (or to taste)

Saute onions in large frying pan in bacon fat. Add chicken and brown. Add rest of ingredients except sour cream. Simmer until meat is tender, approximately 30 minutes. Remove chicken from sauce, process sauce with sour cream in food processor (or blend in blender). Pour sauce back over chicken, heat and serve over homemade noodles.
