MARSHMALLOW PECAN FUDGE 
1/4 lb. sweet butter
1 c. evaporated milk, 14 oz.
5 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate bits
2 c. sm. marshmallows
1 tsp. vanilla
Pinch of salt
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans

Combine butter, milk, salt, and sugar in a stainless steel or enamel saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until sugar is dissolved and butter is melted. Increase heat and boil eight minutes without stirring. Meanwhile combine chocolate bits and marshmallows in a greased bowl. When syrup is done, pour it immediately over chocolate mixture. Do not scrape the pan. Stir until chocolate is dissolved. Add vanilla and pecans. Spread on a buttered platter and let cool completely. Cut into squares.
