CHRISTMAS DIVINITY 
3 egg whites
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
3/4 c. Karo syrup (white)

Combine sugar, syrup, and water in pot. Cook to hard ball stage. Beat egg whites. Pour all of this hot syrup over egg whites, slowly beating all the time, until glossing shine becomes dull. Pour in greased pan; let sit until firm. Cut into squares or drop by tablespoon on wax paper. Let cool. For a little variety, add strawberry or lime Jello before dropping on wax paper.
