TACO SALAD 
1 lb. ground meat
1/2 pkg. taco seasoning mix
2 tbsp. chopped onion
1 head lettuce, shredded
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1/2 to 1 lb. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 tomato, chopped fine
1/2 c. chopped black olives (optional)
1 (8 oz.) bottle Catalina dressing (may use more to your liking)
1/2 lg. bag Dorito corn chips, crushed

Brown meat and onions; drain well. Add taco seasoning. Mix until well blended. Set aside to cool.

In large bowl, combine lettuce, pepper, cheese, tomato and olives. Add the seasoned meat and crushed Dorito chips. Toss well. Cover with Catalina dressing, toss again. Serve immediately. Serves 6 to 8.
