CREAMY ALMOND CANDY | |
1 1/2 lbs. vanilla flavored candy coating 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk 1/8 tsp. salt 1 tsp. almond extract 3 c. whole almonds, toasted In heavy saucepan over low heat melt candy coating with sweetened condensed milk and salt. Remove from heat; stir in extract and almonds. Spread evenly into wax paper-lined 15 x 10 inch jelly roll pan. Chill 2 hours or until firm. Turn onto cutting board, peel off wax paper and cut into triangles or squares. Store tightly covered at room temperature. |
