EASY POT ROAST 
1 (4-6 lb.) brisket of beef
Salt & pepper
3-4 garlic cloves, mashed or chopped
2 lg. onions, sliced
2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans tomato soup
2/3 soup can water

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Salt and pepper brisket. Rub with garlic and place in roasting pan. Cover with onions and bake 20 to 30 minutes. Reduce heat to 300 degrees. Add soup and water, cover and cook an additional 3 1/2 to 4 hours, or until fork tender.
