OATMEAL RAISIN NUT COOKIE 
1 c. butter
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 1/3 c. oats
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. almonds, chopped or slivered

Cream butter, egg, sugar and vanilla. Add flour, baking soda, salt and nutmeg and stir well. Stir in oats, then raisins and then nuts. Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes in 375 degree preheated oven.
