1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
3 c. oats
1 c. raisins

Cream shortening and sugars. Mix in eggs and vanilla. Stir dry ingredients together. Fold into creamed mixture. Stir in oats and raisins. Drop dough by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 4 dozen.
