SALMON PATTIES 
1 (15 1/2 oz.) can salmon, drained & flaked
1 egg, beaten
1/3 c. onion, finely chopped
1/3 c. self-rising flour
Dash of salt to taste
Dash of white pepper to taste
Vegetable oil

Mix all ingredients except vegetable oil. Shape into 6 patties. Heat oil, 1 1/2 to 2 inches in heavy skillet until hot. Fry patties, turning once, 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Drain on paper towels. Make 6 patties.
