SCALLOPED OYSTERS 
3 c. cracker crumbs
2 (12 oz.) containers fresh standard oysters, drained
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 c. butter
1 1/3 c. half & half
2 eggs, beaten
1/8 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Sprinkle 1/2 cup of the cracker crumbs in a lightly greased 8 inch square baking dish. Cover with half of the oysters; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Dot with half of the butter and cover with half the remaining cracker crumbs. Repeat the layers with the remaining oysters, salt, pepper, butter, and cracker crumbs. Combine the half & half, eggs, and Worcestershire sauce; beat well. Pour it over the oysters. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until bubbly and lightly browned. Yield: 6 servings.
