1/2 c. Crisco shortening
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. water
1 egg
1 c. plus 2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. M & M's

Blend Crisco and sugars. Beat in vanilla, water and eggs. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Stir in M & M's. Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 375 degrees.
