GREEN TOMATO RELISH 
1 gal. green tomatoes, cut up
1/2 gal. apples, peeled and cut up
1 pt. sweet red peppers
1 pt. sweet green peppers
6 to 7 hot peppers to taste
1 qt. onions
1 qt. vinegar
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. salt
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Grind and put into colander or cheesecloth bag all except apples; strain well. Put into large pot and add vinegar, sugar, salt, allspice and cinnamon. Cook approximately 15 minutes. Add apples. When mixture begins to boil, put in sterilized jars and seal.

Makes approximately 8 pints. This relish is especially good with fried eggs or any kind of beans.
