CRAB CASSEROLE | |
1 lb. crabmeat 1 can (14 oz.) artichoke hearts, drained & cut in quarters 1 (8 oz.) softened cream cheese 2 oz. (1/2 c.) grated Swiss cheese 1 finely chopped clove garlic Hot pepper sauce to taste Dash of Worcestershire sauce 1/4 c. Italian bread crumbs 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese Salt & pepper to taste A little olive or salad oil Arrange artichokes in bottom of oiled baking dish. Beat cream cheese with a few spoonfuls of milk; mix in Swiss cheese, garlic, pepper sauce and Worcestershire sauce; gently fold in crab meat. Add salt and pepper to taste. Spoon over the artichoke. Combine bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese and sprinkle on top. Drizzle oil over all. Bake in preheated 375 degree oven for 20 to 30 minutes. This may be made earlier and refrigerated before baking. May be served as is or over rice or noodles. |
