2 envelopes white gulaman* 2 1/2 c. milk 1 c. water 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. sugar Boil the gulaman in water in a covered pan until dissolved. Add milk, sugar and vanilla. Stir together until well mixed. Pour into mold and set aside to cool. Chill until firm. Serve as snack or light dessert. *Gulaman or agar-agar as it is chemically known, comes from certain types of seaweeds found in the Philippines and other Far Eastern countries. Gulaman is available in bar forms or powder packets in most Asian markets. |
