PUMPKIN BREAD | |
2/3 c. butter 1 c. honey 2 lg. eggs 1 lb. can or fresh pumpkin paste 2/3 c. water 2/3 c. wheat flour 1 1/3 c. flour 2 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. ground cloves 1/2 c. chopped nuts 1/2 c. raisins 1. Cream butter and honey thoroughly. 2. Add eggs, pumpkin and water. 3. Blend in dry ingredients. 4. Stir in nuts and raisins. 5. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes in 2 loaf pans (9 x 5 x 3 inches), oiled and floured. |
