IVA'S OYSTER DRESSING 
7 c. soft bread crumbs
1 lg. onion, chopped
1/2 c. butter
1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
Sage to taste
2 eggs, well beaten
2 cans oysters
Drippings from turkey
1 1/2 c. chopped celery with leaves

In skillet, saute celery, onion in butter. Toss with bread crumbs, poultry seasoning, sage, salt and pepper. Makes about 8 or 9 cups dressing. Dressing may be baked in greased covered baking dish at 325 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes. For drier dressing, uncover last 15 minutes.
