SWEDISH MEATBALLS 
3 slices white bread, soaked in water, drained
3 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. ground pork
1 onion, chopped fine
2 potatoes, peeled, boiled or baked & cubed
2 eggs

FOR GRAVY:

1 can beef consomme
4 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. flour
1 can evaporated milk

Mix thoroughly all ingredients for meatballs. Form into 2 inch balls and bake in 350 degree oven 45 minutes or until baked through.

For Gravy: In large saucepan, melt butter. Add flour. Mix in evaporated milk and beef consomme. Whisk smooth. Cook over medium heat until desired thickness. Serve over meatballs.
