3 c. plus 3 tsp. plain flour
3 c. sugar
1/2 pt. whipping cream
6 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla or lemon flavoring
2 sticks butter

Mix sugar, butter, eggs, alternating with whipping cream and flour. Add vanilla. Start in cool oven. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 25 minutes.
