PUMPKIN COOKIES 
2 c. butter
1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. allspice
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
4 c. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. salt

Cream butter and sugar. Add pumpkin, eggs and vanilla. Beat well. Stir together flour and spices. Add to creamed mixture.

Drop by teaspoonful. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Frost with Cream Cheese Frosting.

CREAM CHEESE FROSTING:

2 1/2-3 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/4 c. butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 tsp. vanilla
