OLD MAN'S OKRA 
1 lb. okra
1 sm. lump butter
1/4 c. milk
Salt & pepper

Select small tender okra; wash and boil in salted water 10 to 12 minutes or until tender. Drain well. Add butter, milk and seasonings. Put lid on and cook very slowly over low fire until milk is almost gone, then shake pan. Don't allow to boil after adding milk.
